Yes welcome to 1483. England was ruled by King Richard the third. He was a very good king.
All
NOT!!
Narrator
In 1485, a Welsh Prince, named Henry Tudor got an army together and marched into England and fought King Richard at Bosworth Field in Leicestershire.
Soldiers X 8
(Fight scene with swords etc)
Richard III
Things are not going too well. I'm getting out of here. A horse, a horse! My kingdom for a horse....!
Soldier
(Sarcastically) Sorry, your majesty. No horses! (Kills him with a sword)
Richard III
Aaargh!!
All
Aaaaaah....
Narrator 2:
A very sad end for Richard the king. They say he didn't feel a thing.
Narrator 1
This war was called the War of the Roses. It got its name from the badges the two sides used. The Lancastrians, Henry's lot, used a red rose, and the Yorkists, Richard's lot, used a white rose.
After the battle, Henry had a great idea.
Please welcome the first Tudor king, Henry the VII!
